It includes new illustrations, photographs, and photomicrographs, as well as animal and plant dissections. The taxonomic classifications have been updated to reflect the developing understanding of molecular phylogenies. Cladograms are included to assist students in viewing the evolutionary changes of the different phyla. The atlas is intended to complement any biology laboratory manual or textbook.
The authors, Byron J. Adams and John L. Crawley created a balanced visual representation of the diversity of biological organisms in full-color photographs. Buyers are advised that they will only receive the PDF, and that it does not come with online codes. A newer (8th) edition is also available. Please see related eBooks below.
