Dr. Andreas Hellmann is a senior lecturer in accounting. Prior to joining Macquarie University, Andreas lived and worked in Germany. His research focus is mainly in the areas of international accounting and behavioural accounting. His main teaching areas are financial and international accounting. Andreas is also a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Turin, Italy. For his research, Dr. Hellmann recently received an award for academic excellence.

Professor Claire Beattie is the Executive Director of Asset Activations School Infrastructure NSW, Department of Education NSW and a Board member of PCYC NSW & WAGEC. She is also a Member of The Cultural Diversity Committee Women on Boards.

During his 40 years as an academic, John Hoggett, has taught accounting at a number of universities in Western Australia and Queensland. He also worked for the Curriculum Council of Western Australia for numerous years in secondary accounting instruction.

Dr. Medlin has a Bachelor of Economics (BEc) from the University of Adelaide, a Master of Economics (MEc) from the University of New England, a Ph.D. from the University of South Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Education Studies (Digital Learning), and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Before entering academia, he worked for Ernst & Young as a professional accountant.

Dr. Keryn Chalmers is the Dean at the School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship, Swinburne University of Technology (Australia). She earned her Ph.D., from the University of Tasmania, Australia.

Keryn specialises in financial accounting and financial reporting, particularly in the areas of accounting standards, accounting policy, and disclosure decisions made by management, as well as the economic implications of regulation.
