The eBook edition of Wydick’s Plain English for Lawyers 5th edition has been a go-to reference for legal writing teachers, law students, lawyers, and judges for more than 25 years. In 2005, the Legal Writing Institute granted Wydick its Golden Pen Award for writing the book. This non-profit organization fosters discourse and scholarship about legal writing, analysis, and research among its more than 1,300 members, including law teachers from other countries, practicing lawyers, and English teachers in addition to its representation of all of the ABA-accredited law schools in the United States. Finally, the teacher’s manual provides supplementary practice exercises for law students who either desire or require additional assistance.
