We The People: An Introduction to American Government, Thomas E. Patterson, 15th Edition

In each chapter, there are thought-provoking boxes that prompt students to think critically about current issues, such as the differences between the U.S. and the 50 states, and how to distinguish between fake and true information. These tools empower college students to assess data and claims independently. Additionally, each chapter offers suggestions on how students can participate as citizens of our democracy, classified by the founding principle they represent—liberty, equality, or self-government—thereby emphasizing the relevance of these principles today.
